Tour Diary:
28th June - Dublin
A week down and leaving Dublin at 5am to catch a ferry
from Larne in Northern Ireland to Scotland...hopefully Nick will survive
his reunion in Belfast with some old friends tonight and meet us there
also. Just had 3 good days rehearsals in Temple bar Music Centre with our
new piper who will work out well...Will probably get him to come over for
a few weekends later in the Scandinavian leg of the tour as well as the
trips to Italy and Belgium. Have also scored a gig here in Dublin on Thur
26th Sept in a nice wee venue called The Isaac Butt - should be
interesting to see what the locals make of us!
Dublin has become a seriously expensive city...now
officially the 2nd most expensive one in Europe after Helsinki (which we
will be in in 10 days - guess what's 3rd? - Stockholm...!!!)
We're out for a cpl of drinks last Sat night in
this venue called Whelans when we thought we recognised a poster in the window
and sure enough D4 were playing that night. Didn't see the gig but Manu and
Hector crashed the after gig party that night which their memories are a
bit hazy about - funny that!! < back
