Based in Wellington, New Zealand, Jacky Tar are a group of Kiwi, Irish and Scottish musicians playing "funked-up" original and traditional Celtic music. Using their Celtic roots as a base and adding elements of Rock, Rap, Funk and Dance music, their unique sound is a reflection of the cultural melting pot that is New Zealand.
